Commissioned by Development Victoria ahead of the brand identity being established, Vienna & Co. designed site hoarding for the Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre.

The concept drew directly from the Wadawurrung meaning of Nyaal Banyul, open your eyes to the hills. Typographic map forms and a bird's-eye view of the surrounding landscape were used to create an installation that acknowledged Country and reflected the cultural significance of the site.

The result was a considered piece of environmental communication that set a tone for the centre before its identity existed.
